Frequently Asked Questions

Working together:

How do I know which pathway is right for me?

You don't need to decide before getting in touch. Many people know they would like support but are unsure whether coaching, The Journey Process or astrology feels like the best fit. We can begin with a conversation and decide together what would feel most supportive for where you are now.

Please note: if you would like to include astrology I will need your date, place and time of birth prior to our session, so a chart can be prepared for you.

I have never done anything like this before, is that ok?

Absolutely. Many of the people I work with are completely new to coaching, Journey work, astrology and circle work. You don't need any previous experience or specialist knowledge. Curiosity is enough.

Do I have to be in crisis to work with you?

Not at all. Some people come because they are navigating a significant life event or emotional challenge. Others simply notice a quiet feeling that something is asking for attention, or that they would like to understand themselves more deeply. We always begin with where you are.

Sessions:

Are sessions online or in person?

Sessions and circle workshops are currently offered online, allowing you to join from the comfort of your own space. A secure link will be shared with you prior to your session. Although, I do plan to offer circle sessions in person in the near future, so please keep an eye open for this if that is something that would be of interest.

What happens in a session?

Every session begins with a conversation. Together we explore what feels most important for you that day and decide how best to work together. There is no fixed agenda and nothing you need to prepare.

How often do we meet?

There is no one-size-fits-all approach. Some people come for a single session, while others choose to meet every three or four weeks over a longer period. Together we will find a rhythm that feels supportive for you.

Coaching:

Will you tell me what to do?

No. I believe you already carry your own wisdom. My role is not to give advice or tell you what decisions to make, but to create a space where you can hear yourself more clearly and reconnect with what feels true for you.

Astrology:

Do I need to know anything about astrology?

Not at all. Most people come with curiosity rather than previous knowledge.

Your consultation is a conversation, and I will explain everything as we go, using your birth chart as a compassionate lens through which to explore your experiences, patterns and possibilities.

We begin with a gentle introduction to your birth chart, so you have a sense of the symbolic language we are working with. This includes exploring the foundations of signs, planets, houses and key angles. We use these as a starting point for understanding how the patterns and archetypes reflected in your birth chart may connect with your own lived experience.

From there, the conversation unfolds around what feels meaningful, relevant and resonant for you.

Do you predict the future?

No. I don't use astrology to make predictions and I am not a fortune-teller that will tell you your future, although if this is what you would like there are astrologers who do work in this way.

Instead, I see astrology as a reflective tool that can help us understand your strengths, patterns, challenges and possibilities with greater kindness and clarity. My aim is to help you gain a better connection with yourself and your life.

Journey Process:

What is The Journey Process?

The Journey Process is a guided process of emotional exploration that combines relaxation, inner enquiry and reflection. It creates space to gently explore what you may have been carrying and to reconnect with yourself in a compassionate way. Please see the working with me pages for more information or get in touch via the contact page.

The Journey Process is not intended to replace any medical treatment or professional support you may already be receiving. Its purpose is as a tool for guided introspection, emotional exploration and self-discovery, alongside whatever other support you choose to access

You are free to pause, stop or ask questions at any time. We work at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you. This is a collaborative process that you remain an active participant, in this way it is a way to with you rather than on you.

Women's Circles:

I've never been to a women's circle before, is this ok?

Many women who join a circle are attending for the first time. There is no expectation to speak, share or participate in any way that doesn't feel right for you. You are welcome exactly as you are. Circle work is always about connection, connection with self and with other supportive women.

After you have signed up to experience a circle, I do provide just a few guidelines on how we will work together as a group, just to ensure that this remains a safe space for everyone.

Practical:

What if I need to rearrange my session?

I understand that life sometimes changes unexpectedly. I simply ask for at least 48 hours' notice wherever possible. Full details can be found in my Working Together Agreement. Please note that if you are unable to make a circle workshop, there may not be another exactly the same for you to join. I do vary the theme of the circles and they will run at specific times.

Is what I share confidential?

Yes. Creating an emotionally safe space is at the heart of my work. Everything you share is treated with care and confidentiality, except in the rare circumstances where I have a legal or safeguarding responsibility to disclose information. Please see your welcome pack for further details or the privacy and confidentiality tab above.

Do you work with clients outside the UK?

Yes. I work online with clients internationally and well as in the UK.

What if I don't know where to begin?

You don't need to. Many people arrive feeling unsure how to explain what they're experiencing. You don't need the right words or a clear plan before we meet. We simply begin with where you are, trusting that what matters most will unfold as we explore together.

If you have any questions that have not been answered here, or if you would like an informal chat before deciding on how you would like to proceed please do reach out via the contact page.
